Orange Lutheran Advances on Notre Dame S.O.

Lancers stop the ‘unstoppable‘ Knights in 24-14 victory last night at Santa Ana Bowl.

It was a tough game Friday as the first quarter ended 0-0. The teams went into half-time tied at 14-14, but that was the end of Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks. As they looked to be on the verge of scoring, Orange Lutheran’s Gabe Lemon snagged an interception on the 3-yard line turning the game over to Lutheran. O Lu pushed the ball down the gridiron for a field goal in the third quarter, followed by a fourth quarter touchdown to secure their spot in the CIF Pac-5 Division Semi-Final game against Rancho Santa Margarita Tesoro next Saturday at Santa Ana Bowl. The upset was the first for NDSO, ranked #1 in CA; #2 in the Nation, this season.
