THE BLOG CHAIN is comprised of a group of fiction writers from Query Tracker and Rally Storm. We thought it would be fun and insightful to acquire differing ideas and opinions on a particular writing topic.

I absolutely adore quotations, and from time to time, I post The Write Quotations. You can check out those pages here and here.
One quote that really sparkles for me is from the movie MISS POTTER. It just puts me into such a writing mood and inspires me.

I think I’ve referred to the Robert Frost quote before, and I’ve heard about the million words bit before too. I’m afraid I don’t agree that writing the first words of a story is delicious–they’re often the hardest to write!
I’ve heard that “million words” thing before, but I didn’t know where it came from. It seems like such an odd designation to me.

Love the Robert Frost quote! There have been many times I’ve freaked out at 1am when some plot point that had been there all along suddenly came together in a wholey different way than I expected and changed EVERYTHING.
