Wiped Out!
This Day in History: The night of September 13 – 14, 1814 – Francis Scott Key wrote the poem ‘Defense of Ft. McHenry’ which became the ‘Star Spangled Banner.’
“Lutheran Stunned” Yep, that was the Orange County Register headline I woke up to this morning, as if I hadn’t already lived it during last night’s Orange Lutheran football game. And stunned summed it up pretty well. Crimeney! Kudos to Bishop Amat who played a really great game winning 47-39.
But if staying out late for a disappointing loss wasn’t bad enough, I had to get up at 4:45 this morning to get my son to Mt. SAC for the Fastback Shootout Cross Country Race. When is a mom supposed to sleep? I’m tired, sleepy, exhausted, falling in my soup, weary, worn-out, drained, bushed, drowsy, fatigued, beat, wiped out, dog-tired, all in, done in, tired out, pooped out, spent, in need of z’s, and any other synonym for tired of which you can think!
